Noise propagation 3D modeling
Noise propagation 3D modeling
Our experience

The team of “Eco-Spectri” LTD has a long working experience in the field of 3D modeling of noise propagation. The Company has been providing measurement services both, on the territory of Georgia and beyond its borders both, for state bodies and international financial institutions (Asian Development Bank, European Investment Bank, World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, etc.). The company has completed modeling projects for the propagation of highways, railways, power lines, industrial, construction and other types of noise.

When is noise propagation modeling needed?
  • In urban planning;
  • During the road and railway construction and operation;
  • During the construction and operation of wind power plants;
  • In case of industrial and commercial activities;
  • For noisy working zones;
  • For urban noise;
  • In the planning, realization and/or operation phases of infrastructural projects;
  • In developing environmental management plans.

alt
Services we offer:
  • Noise propagation modeling in working zones;
  • Road and railway transport noise propagation modeling;
  • Power transmission lines and wind power plant noise propagation modeling;
  • Production/industrial noise propagation modeling;
  • Modeling of point and linear noise sources propagation (stationery sources, pipelines, etc.).

Methods and techniques of noise propagation modeling

Noise modeling is done by using German „CadnaA“ software. „CadnaA“ (Computer Aided Noise Abatement) is the state of art efficient software for calculation, presentation, assessment and prediction of environmental noise. The software has more than 30 standards and guidelines, powerful calculation algorithms, extensive object processing tools, outstanding 3D visualization. It is totally compatible with other Windows applications, such as Word processors, table calculation software, CAD and GIS database.

Standards used in noise propagation modeling:
  • Vehicle noise - NMPB-1996 (Nouvelle Méthode de Prévision Emission Parameter du Bruit) – the European Commission recommended French Auto-Modeling Standard;
  • Railway noise - SRM II (Standaardrekenmethode 2) - the European Commission recommended Netherlands Railway Modeling Standard;
  • Industrial and other noise - ISO 9613 (Acoustics — Attenuation of sound during propagation outdoors).
In order to achieve efficient noise propagation modeling results, the Company undertakes certain research works to obtain the information necessary for modeling.

Duration and prices of measurement and analysis services of the noise propagation modeling

The time and price of the services are calculated individually, depending on the numbers of measurement points, task complexity and scale, as well as specific indicators and environmental conditions.
