Measurement and analysis of basal vibration levels
Our experience
The team of “Eco-Spectri” LTD has
a long working experience in the field of measurement and analysis
of basal vibration levels. The Company has been providing
measurement services both, on the territory of Georgia and beyond
its borders both, for state bodies and international financial
institutions (Asian Development Bank, European Investment Bank,
World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development,
etc.).
When is measurement and
analysis of basal vibration needed?
- In urban planning;
- During the road construction and operation;
- During the construction and operation of wind power plants;
- In case of industrial and commercial activities;
- During the propagation of vibration in the workspace;
- In the planning, realization and/or operation phases of infrastructural projects;
- During the complaint of individuals and legal entities;
- In developing environmental management plans.
Services we
offer:
- Measure the basal level of vibration in the workplace and study the impact on buildings;
- Measure the basal level of vibration along the roads on the buildings;
- Measure the basal level of vibration along the power transmission lines and wind power plants on the buildings;
- Measure the basal level of vibration o the manufacturing/industrial activity on the buildings;
- Determination of second indicators of vibration velocity and acceleration (m/sec).
Methods and techniques to
study for measuring and analyzing the basal level of vibration
The vibration measuring
instrument is designed for measuring vibration in buildings,
bridges, towers, pipelines and other large structures. The
measurements serve to prevent possible structural damage or
disturbance to people. German based device "Triaxial vibrtion meter
VM40B" contains a sensor, recording and evaluation electronics and
an accumulator in its robust casing. The instrument contains three
highly sensitive piezoelectric systems for vibration measurement of
all three special dimensions. The signal processing is controlled
by a microprocessor. The Company has developed the vibration
measuring procedure, which is based on the requirements and
recommendations of the authoritative international
organizations.
Standards used to study the
vibration propagation:
-
DIN 4150-3: Structural Vibration – Effects of vibration on structures – German Standard;
-
BS 7385: Evaluation and measurement for vibration in buildings – British Standard;
-
SN 640312 a: Effects of vibration on buildings – Swiss Standard;
-
ISO 4866:2010 – Mechanical Vibration and Shock – International Certification Organization Standard.
Duration and prices of
measuring and analyzing the basal level of vibration
The time and price of the
services are calculated individually, depending on the numbers of
measurement points, task complexity and scale, as well as specific
indicators and environmental conditions.
